Businesses and self-employed

In a business, a badly set-up electricity contract shows every month.

We review your business supplies in Spain for free: contracted power, periods, penalties and price. We tell you how much you overpay and, if you wish, handle the switch while you keep working.

What we check

The places where a business usually overpays.

In a home there is little to adjust. In a business there is a good deal more, and hardly anyone looks at it.

1

Power per period

The 3.0TD tariff lets you contract up to six different power levels. Most businesses have the same in all of them, and overpay for the hours when they are closed.

2

Excess power charges

Going over your contracted power does not cut the supply: it is penalised on the bill. If it happens every month, the power is badly distributed.

3

Reactive energy

Motors and cold rooms cause a surcharge that can almost always be fixed. We tell you whether it is costing you money.

4

Price and type of contract

Fixed or indexed, with or without lock-in. We compare against your real consumption per period, not the advertised price.

5

Several supply points

With several premises, each contract tends to date from a different time. We review them together and put them in order.

6

Gas as well

If your business uses gas, we review it in the same way: fixed charge, variable charge and access toll.

How we work

You carry on with your business. We deal with your bills.

1

You send us the bills

One per supply point is enough to start. By WhatsApp or email.

2

We give you the review

A document showing what you pay, what you would pay and where the difference comes from, supply by supply.

3

We handle the switch

If you are interested, we do the paperwork. There are no power cuts: the installation and the meter stay the same.

It is free for you

We earn a commission from the supplier only if you decide to switch. If your current contract is already good, we tell you so and you change nothing.

FAQ

What businesses usually ask us.

What is the difference between the 2.0TD and 3.0TD tariffs?

2.0TD is for supplies of up to 15 kW and has three energy periods and two power periods. 3.0TD is for more than 15 kW at low voltage and has six of each. There is more to adjust and therefore more room to save.

What are excess power charges?

On 3.0TD, going over your contracted power in a period does not trip the supply: a penalty is billed. It usually means the power is badly spread across the periods.

And reactive energy?

It is energy drawn by motors, cold rooms and other equipment without doing useful work. Above a certain level it is penalised. It is normally corrected with a capacitor bank.

Do I have to stop working to switch?

No. Switching supplier is an administrative step: the installation is not touched and the supply is never interrupted.

I have a lock-in period. Can I switch?

We check it before proposing anything. If the penalty eats up the saving, we tell you when it makes sense to do it.
